Author Guidelines

Author’s responsibilities (see as Author) and requirements to a manuscript are as follows:

 

1. A submitting manuscript should contain research results that can be applied in the work of agricultural specialists in the fields listed:

03.00.00 – Biological sciences; 06.00.00 – Agricultural sciences; 08.00.00 – Economic sciences.

 

2. The manuscript should be signed by all the authors and the Head of the Chair and followed by the cover letter signed by the Vice-Rector on Science and Research and stamped.

 

3. A manuscript is submitted as printed and electronic versions in English and Russian. Electronic version should be identical with the printed one and sent to: vestnik.nsau@mail.ru.

 

4. Formatting rules for submitting manuscripts:

– Manuscripts should normally be around 10-15 pages of A4 (transliteration, translation and information about the authors are not considered); reviewing manuscripts should be around 30-35 pages.

– Margins are 2,0 sm;

– Font size is 14;

– Font size in Figures and Tables is 14 (it is incorrect to insert bitmap images of calculations and formulas instead of characters);

– Spacing is 1.5;

– Font is Times New Roman;

– Paging is marked as footer centre;

– Text align is edgewise (title and parts of the article are centre line marked with capital letters);

– Notes are represented as  page;

– References should be listed in square brackets in the order they are cited in the text.  

5. Rules for submitting manuscript as an electronic version:

– the manuscript should be in DOC or RTF format;

– file title should be as follows:

Tables, figures and pictures are represented in Word (additionally in the original) in order to correct them.

Tables must contain the data statistically processed

 

CONCLUSIONS

The author makes concrete and strict conclusions according to the parts.

 

 

REFERENCES

References should be listed in the order they are cited in the text and at the end of the paper according to National State Standard (GOST) R. 7.0.5–2008. Font should be 14. The number of cited references and additional research sources shouldn’t be less than 10 (50 for reviews). References are reviewed in the language they are published.

Please, put your attention on the accuracy of full names and full description of sources.

In case the manuscript is represented in incorrect way, the manuscript is sent back to the author for correction. The date of mailing is the date of arrival of the final variant. Editorial cannot accept the manuscripts, which do not correspond to the rules.

All the manuscripts are peer-reviewed and Editorial Board makes decision about the relevance of the manuscript and its publication.

Publication for PhD-students is free of charge.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).
  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.
